Socialocate Privacy Policy

The full name of this application is Socialocate, designed and developed by Bittarn Technology.

 

Socialocate respects and protects the privacy of all users of the Services. Socialocate will obtain and store your personal information carefully and securely in accordance with this Privacy Policy. Socialocate is committed to not disclosing or providing your private information to third party organizations or individuals without your authorization. Socialocate may update its privacy policy from time to time. By agreeing to the Socialocate Service Use Agreement, you agree to this Privacy Policy in its entirety. This Privacy Policy is an integral part of the Socialocate Service Use Agreement.

 

i) Application scope

 

  1. The personal data, social media data, and addresses you upload and manage when you use Socialocate
  2. The information on your browser and computer that Socialocate automatically receives and records when you use the Socialocate Web Services or visit the web pages on the Socialocate platform, including but not limited to your IP address, browser type, language used, date and time of access, information on hardware and software characteristics and records of web pages you request.
  3. Personal data of users obtained by Socialocate from its business partners through legal means.

 

ii) Data Collection

 

To ensure the safe operation, quality of operation and efficiency of the software and services, we collect your hardware model, operating system version number, international mobile device identifier, unique device identifier, network device hardware address, IP address, WLAN access point, Bluetooth, base station, software version number, network access method, type, status, network quality data, operation, usage, and service logs.

 

INTERNET allows the program to network and send statistics permissions.

 

ACCESS NETWORK STATE allows the application to detect the network connection status to avoid sending data in abnormal network conditions, saving traffic and power.

 

READ PHONE STATE Allows the application to access the information of the mobile device in a read-only manner, uniquely identifying the user by the information obtained.

 

ACCESS WIFI STATE obtains the MAC address of the device, which is also used to uniquely identify the user.

 

WRITE EXTERNAL STORAGE is used to save device information and record logs; get video in storage for user to upload video (only if user agrees); get picture in storage for user to change avatar (only if user agrees).

 

READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: Allows the application to read files from the device's external storage; get videos from storage for users to upload videos (only if the user agrees); get pictures from storage for users to change their avatars (only if the user agrees).

 

Used for local caching of application content so that playback can be started quickly the next time it is opened.

 

CAMERA Get permission to use the camera; used to take pictures when the user changes their avatar (only if the user agrees)

iii) Third-Party Accounts

 

Socialocate allows you to register and sign in to the Socialocate Services using accounts created through third party products and services such as Google, Facebook, Apple or Twitter (collectively, "Third Party Accounts").

 

If you use a Third Party Account to access the Socialocate Services, we will collect the information you provide with your consent, such as your avatar and nickname, and use it as the base account information for your Socialocate account, which you may change manually at any time.

 

We will not disclose your private information without your consent. Such information is collected by third party account providers and provided to Socialocate in accordance with their privacy policies, and you can generally control the information we receive from these sources using the privacy settings in your third party account.

 

iv) Information Usage

 

  1. Socialocate will not provide, sell, rent, share or trade your personal information to any third party, except with your prior permission, or if such third party and Socialocate (including Socialocate affiliates) provide services to you, either individually or jointly, and after such services have ended, they will be denied access to all such information, including those to which they previously had.
  2. Socialocate also does not permit any third party to collect, compile, sell or distribute your Personal Information by any means without compensation. If any Socialocate platform user engages in any of these activities, Socialocate reserves the right to immediately terminate its service agreement with that user if discovered.
  3. Socialocate will collect some data for tracking and optimizing user experience. Your data will be strictly kept and will not be disclosed or sold to any third party organizations.

 

You may make a request to us to delete personal information in the following cases.

  1. If our handling of personal information violates laws and regulations.
  2. If we collect and use your personal information without your authorized consent.
  3. If our handling of personal information is in serious breach of our agreement with you.
  4. If we no longer provide services to you.
  5. If you want to cancel your personal account. Please email us to contact@bittarn.com, the operation will be completed within 1-7 business days. Alternatively, sign into the App and delete your account from 'My Account > Settings > Account > Account cancellation'.

If we decide to respond to your request for deletion, we will also simultaneously notify the entities from which we obtained your personal information, as far as possible, and ask them to delete it in a timely manner, unless otherwise required by law or regulation, or if these entities have your independent authorization.

 

v) Information Disclosure

 

Socialocate will disclose your personal information, in whole or in part, in accordance with your individual wishes or as required by law, if

  1. it is disclosed to a third party with your prior consent.
  2. it is necessary to share your personal information with third parties in order to provide the products and services you have requested.
  3. to third parties or administrative or judicial bodies in accordance with the relevant provisions of the law, or the requirements of administrative or judicial bodies.
  4. if you are required to disclose to a third party in the event of a violation of relevant local laws and regulations or the Socialocate service agreement or related rules.
  5. if you are an eligible IPR complainant and have filed a complaint, to disclose to the Respondent at the Respondent's request, so that both parties can deal with possible disputes over your rights.
  6. other disclosures that Socialocate deems appropriate in accordance with laws, regulations or website policies.

 

vi) Data Storage and Exchange

 

The information and data that Socialocate collects about you will be stored on the servers of Socialocate and/or its affiliates and may be transferred to, accessed, stored and displayed outside of your country, region or location where Socialocate collects the information and data.

 

vii) Notification and Modifications

 

We may modify the terms of this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will provide more prominent notice of material changes, and you may choose to discontinue using the Socialocate services if you do not agree with such changes, If you continue to use the Socialocate Services, you agree to be bound by this Privacy Policy, as amended. We encourage you to review our Privacy Policy each time you use the Socialocate services. We may make service-related announcements when necessary (for example, when we suspend a service due to system maintenance). You may not be able to cancel these service-related announcements that are not promotional in nature. Finally, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password information. In all cases, please take care to keep them secure.
